Plaswood is ideal for making bollards from as it does not require painting or staining/ Never rots/ Is graffiti resistant/ Does not fade or discolour/ Ideal in or around water/ The Ecological alternative to wood.
For installation, a minimum below ground depth of 450mm to 500mm and 400mm square is recommended. Setting in concrete is preferred to a concrete strength of approximately 23Kn. Positioning pegs are available for keying into concrete when the bollards would be supplied with a pre-drilled hole, about 200mm up from the base, to accept the pegs.
