Nick had been planning his decking project for months, sketching ideas on scrap paper and measuring the garden more times than he cared to admit. When he finally settled on recycled plastic lumber for the supports, everything clicked into place.

The order went through in minutes, and because he lived close to Earth Anchors’ office in Salfords, Surrey, he swung by to collect the lengths without paying a penny for delivery. Back home, he laid the 50×50mm plastic wood out on the grass alongside the regular timber for the frame and got straight to work.

That’s when the difference really showed. Recycled plastic lumber cut cleanly, held its shape and didn’t splinter; a welcome change from the hidden defects you often find in traditional timber.

Good quality fence posts, solid, heavy, delivered for surprisingly cheap. I needed to cut them to height after install, so I used a sledge hammer direct to the post when hammering into the concrete holes the rotted timber of the old ones left.They survived well. One chipping when I struck the edge, but thats similar to timber. I ordered brown ones and the insides are also brown which is nice.

At 0950 on 8th July we ordered a "Bronze Garden Plaque - 150 x 100mm".At 1047 the same day recieved and email with a document attached showing excatly how our plaque/wording would would look. I recently bought a Surrey 1M picnic table from Earth Anchors. It took a little longer to arrive than the original estimate and we woke on the morning of delivery day to find it already on the drive outside the house.The table is well made and sturdy and a perfect fit for two people in our small garden. It will also fit four with a chair added at each end.Only problem encountered during assembly was that four of the pre-drilled holes were a bit off meaning the screws hit another which had been fitted earlier during assembly. We had to drill another hole to get round the problem. I have added a photo to show this.I’m confident our Surrey 1M picnic table will serve us well for many years.
