Continued Investment at Earth Anchors with CombiLift

A necessary helping hand for the Recycled Plastic Lumber

Last year at Earth Anchors we had to unload 250 Tons of recycled plastic lumber from delivery vehicles and into our factory. No small feat which requires no small machinery. With our ongoing efforts to increase productivity and to speed up production, we are proud to welcome our newest bit of kit; a CombLift CBE-3000. An all-electric multi-directional forklift to help lighten the load.

As we’ve become the largest stockist of recycled plastic post, planks, and boards in the south of England, we’ve found that safe and efficient material handling has become essential. At any one time we stock up to 50 tons of recycled plastic lumber which is used in the manufacture of our outdoor picnic tables, planters, and benches, as well as offering it for sale for fencing, decking, and boardwalk projects.

To be able to squeeze this all into our Surrey warehouse we’ve had to think big and rack high. In the last three years Earth Anchors has experienced significant growth which resulted in over £150,000 being invested into the company during that period to help increase our productivity. Hopefully it doesn’t stop there.

Our multi-directional forklift is now able to manoeuvre with ease large quantities of recycled plastic through our warehouse right up to our saw so that we can cut plastic planks and posts quickly and easily for shipping in record time.

Alongside our brand new forklift, we have also expanded with a 8×4″ CNC, a semi-automated saw and overhead crane. All to improve our customer service and production capabilities.

If you require cut recycled plastic lumber for your project, please give us a call or use the contact page, and we can help save you time by supplying your cut recycled plastic lumber for your next project.

Vinyl Printing Services?

Naturally, we had to put our name on it using our in-house vinyl printer. Just like our metal outdoor notice board, our in house design team straight away got to work and added their mark to our machine.

Our thanks go to Mexmast for their service and training of our new forklift.
